Israel is protesting against the deal on natural gas struck between Iran and the Swiss electric company Laufenberg. Yet research shows that Israel itself is obtaining oil from its adversary.

Here in the capital, rolling blackouts every night for a month have left people without electricity, and heat, for hours at a time.

arrested on November 17 in relation to her activities and writings in
defense of equal rights for women. On the 18th, a very high bail order
was issued in her case. Maryam couldnt meet it and she was committed to
Evin Prison.
